Job Description for Admin Assistant

Admin Assistant is responsible for assisting the Marketing Director with day-to-day administrative duties, project management, and help with the development, execution, and monitoring of digital efforts, social media, press relations, and content marketing campaigns. This role is a remote position, so this person will have the flexibility to work from home and be required to be on daily zoom calls with the team & management.

Position: Part-time/Full-time

Responsibilities for Admin Assistant

  • Support the marketing team’ss’ initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of programs & campaigns such as email, social media, press relations, and/or content marketing.

  • Assist product development teams as needed with research, scheduling, documentation, etc

  • Update websites with new events, promotions, blogs and all other content as needed

  • Assist with managing and updating images, content, and video for partner marketing programs

  • Assist in creating, proofreading, and editing copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistency throughout

  • Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports

  • Perform market research

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by management team

Qualifications for Admin Assistant

  • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • At least 4 year of experience in administrative roles and/or 2 years of experience in marketing

  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.

  • Highly organized; able to manage multiple projects / priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines

  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.

  • Must have a high level of creativity.

  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports.

  • Proficiency in programs in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Strong desire to learn.

  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a complex, rapidly changing environment.

  • Proven team player with ability to navigate and collaborate cross functionally

  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage a variety of projects in different stages at the same time.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities.

  • Must have a computer, cell phone, and reliable internet connection

  • Ability to work within normal business hours of 8am - 5pm EST

  • High School degree; additional experience in Marketing required

  • Organized, positive, upbeat, can-do, professional and responsible attitude, independent and self-directed yet also team-oriented
