Job Descriptions for Web Designer

As a BIT web designer, you will use your experience in visualization and software to create websites that make customer interactions memorable. You will collaborate with our development and product teams to produce easy to use and visually appealing website experiences for our users.

Position: Full-time

Responsibilities for Web Designer

• Design, create, and modify pages and other elements for the website

• Design presentations/powerpoints

• Convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats

• Create back-end code and interfaces for new web platforms

• Analyze user needs to implement website content, graphics, performance, and capacity

• Integrate websites with other computer applications

• Keep up-to-date on web developments and trends

• Perform task of creating visual concepts, by hand or using computer applications, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate an audience

• Interpret oral and written descriptions and convert them into visual and graphic representations, including Web sites, print materials, and logos

• Highly organized; able to manage multiple project projects/priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Qualifications for Web Designer

• 4+ years of experience (required)

• Wix design platform experience is preferred but not required

• Previous experience in web development or other related fields

• Familiarity with HTML, Javascript, or other related languages

• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

• Strong attention to detail

• UI/UX preferred but not required
